When we first opened up we immediately wanted to get some cafe style seating out front of our building, however there was a big problem – we weren’t even allowed to apply for the permit per city ordinance. PROBLEM!

SOLUTION? Change the law! With the help of Downtown Springfield, Inc, we presented an updated version of the sidewalk ordinance to the city that expanded the eligible businesses for cafe seating downtown. The amendment was co-sponsored by the mayor and enjoyed unanimous support, wow!

So of course once that was in the works, we built our own outdoor furniture and now it’s finally ready for the best people on earth, our customers!
