Emily Hope is a smiley singer/songwriter, guitarist, and ukulele player currently based in Bloomington, IL. She believes whole-heartedly in music’s power to inspire, encourage, and enact change. Above all, she values music with a message, and strives to write songs that people can relate to. Her music features cheerful ukulele and catchy acoustic guitar tunes inspired by a variety of country, folk, and pop influences that are sure to get your feet tapping.
Emily released a self-titled EP in August of 2017 including five original songs and is currently working on recording a full album. Since then, she has released 4 singles, Father’s Song, Lovely Thoughts, Can’t, Better, and Got It From My Mama.
The past couple of years have brought Emily an array of musical opportunities. She was blessed to be one of the opening acts for country artist, Eric Paslay in August of 2017 at the Apollo Theatre in Belvidere, IL and in June of 2018, was the sole opener for Christian rock band, Stars Go Dim at the Levitt AMP Music Series in Galva, IL. In August of 2018, she opened for Christian duo, Love & The Outcome at the Decatur Celebration in Decatur, IL.
