Upon first taste, though, I was struck by this beer’s flavor profile of both orange and vanilla, leaning more heavily toward vanilla. The orange flavor doesn’t quite strike as much as it sneaks into the back half of each sip, never overpowering the vanilla but rather blending with it. It has just enough of that sweet orange flavor to stand out against the backdrop of vanilla, like a melody against a bass line if you’re into awkward metaphors. It honestly reminded me of an ice cream float made with orange soda.
